Live to Write - Write to Live

If your ultimate goal is to be a published author, it’s never to early to start thinking like a published author. Part of that thinking should most definitely be about successful tools to market your book. I follow a number of authors, agents and reviewers on Twitter and I frequently see posts about “Such ’n Such book is now up on NetGalley”, or “I requested a copy of Author’s name new release on NetGalley.” I finally went to to see what all the fuss was about.

NetGalley is a website that connects professional readers with protected, advanced reader copies (a.k.a ARCs) of books. A professional reader is someone who reviews or recommends books. Think of a reviewer, blogger, journalist, librarian or even bookstore sales clerk.
